About Sam Chadwick

It was one of Canon’s very first digital cameras which became Sam’s main means of documenting a 5-day ascent of Mount Kilimanjaro. Ever since, Sam’s passion for travel photography has taken him to over 50 countries, creating a remarkable collection of images of the people, cultures and environments in which we live. In 2007, Sam’s reached the semi-finals of the Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year.

Although travel photography remains Sam’s focus, he continues to advance his abilities in other disciplines. Sam’s eye for photojournalism has lead to images appearing on Reuters and he is a patron of the International Center of Photography.

In 2010, Sam moved from Hell’s Kitchen New York City to Hong Kong, his new base a series of expeditions across Asia. Sam is an associate organizer of the Hong Kong Photography Club where he runs photography get-togethers around the city.
